This procedure erases all data on the SD / memory card. It's recommended to back up your data before formatting.

To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.

Ensure that your smartphone isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

Battery and device care

Storage

Tap the

Menu icon

(upper-right).

Tap

Advanced

From the 'Portable storage' section, select the name of the SD / memory card.

The name varies depending upon the type of card used.
