moto g power - Common Camera Settings

Here's info on common camera settings (e.g., flash, timer, front / rear camera, etc.) for your moto g power.

Camera home screen

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
    Camera icon.
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
    Settings icon to access these options:
    • Rear camera
      Select the option and configure as preferred:
      • Photo size
        • Ratio (4:3, 16:9, 19:9)
        • Resolution (12MP, 8MP)
      • Video size (e.g., 4K UHD, FHD, HD, etc.)
    • Selfie camera
      Select the option then configure as preferred:
      • Photo size
        • Ratio (4:3, 16:9, 19:9)
        • Resolution (16MP, 4MP)
      • Video size (e.g., FHD, HD, etc.)
      • Slow motion size (FHD, HD)
      • HDR (Auto, On, Off)
      • Selfie photo mirror
        Tap the
        switch
        to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Capture settings
      Tap the switch(es) to turn on or off:
      • Quick capture
        Tap then configure additional settings on the next screen.
      • Tap anywhere to capture
      • Shutter sound
      • Assistive grid
      • Leveler
      • Watermark
        Tap then configure additional settings on the next screen.
    • AI settings
      Tap the switch(es) to turn on or off:
      • Auto Smile Capture
      • Gesture Selfie
      • Smart Composition
      • Shot Optimization
      • Google Lens
    • Save settings:
      • Storage (Phone, SD card)
      • Save location
        Tap to turn on or off.

  2. Tap the
    Auto/Manual icon
    Auto/Manual icon to select Auto or Manual.
    When set to Manual, more options appear on the right side of the screen (white balance, shutter speed, etc.).
This option only appears in Auto mode.
