Manage Data Usage

Setting data limits or warnings on your moto g stylus helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.

Before you begin

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & Intnert
    Mobile network
    .
  3. Tap
    Data warning & limit
     then do any of the following:
    • To change data usage cycle:
      1. Tap
        App data usage cycle
        .
      2. Select the Usage reset date then
        Set
        .
    • To set mobile data cycle:
      1. Tap the
        Alert me switch
         to enable.
      2. Enter the preferred warning limit (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set mobile data limit:
      1. Tap the
        Limit switch
         to turn on.
      2. Enter the preferred data usage limit (e.g., 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
