View / Extend Battery Life - motorola edge+

Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine which apps use the most power on your motorola edge+.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

From the 'Battery' screen, tap

Battery Usage

to view advanced battery usage stats.

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

View the advanced battery usage details.

The 'Battery history' graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.

To improve battery life, you can:

Disable or uninstall apps (e.g., live wallpapers, etc.) that are consuming too much battery or RAM or aren't being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Turn GPS off when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Ensure battery optimizations aren't ignored; make sure accounts (e.g., email, Facebook®, etc.) are selected and optimized as desired.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
