Restart in Safe Mode - motorola edge+

Restarting your motorola edge+ in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until the 'Power off' option appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt appears.
  3. From the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
     to confirm.
    The process may take up to 60 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
