Google Pixel Phones Download and Activate an eSIM
Google Pixel Phones
Download and Activate an eSIMWith an eSIM, your phone number and plan are installed digitally onto your Pixel phone instead of using a physical SIM card. Downloading an eSIM profile is the first step in getting connected to the Verizon network.
Before you begin
Make sure you are using a Verizon-branded or unlocked device. Non-Verizon (BYOD) Prepaid devices don’t support eSIM activation.
Confirm your eSIM activation is processed and that you have the QR code from your email. Pixel 8 / 8 Pro and newer do not require a QR Code.
Ensure your device is running the most current software and that you’re connected to the Verizon network or Wi-Fi.
If traveling abroad, activate your eSIM prior to your trip, as it requires the Verizon coverage to complete setup.
