The device ID (IMEI) is a unique identifier for your Pixel smartphone. This info is essential when troubleshooting certain issues or activating a device on your account without using a physical SIM.

Before you begin

The following Pixel phones don't support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS):
  • Pixel Phone by Google
  • Pixel 2/2XL
  • Pixel 3/3XL
  • Pixel 3a/3aXL

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    About phone
    .
  3. Tap
    IMEI (sim slot 2)
    .
    If IMEI (sim slot 2) is not displayed, navigate:
    Settings
    Network & internet
    Add SIM icon
    Download a new eSIM
    . IMEI (sim slot 2) will now display. Return to the Home screen and repeat steps 1 and 2.
  4. View the IMEI.
