OnePlus 8 5G UW - Manage Battery Saving Settings

'Battery optimization' helps extend battery life on your OnePlus 8 5G UW by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap the
    Optimized charging switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap
    Battery optimization
    .
  5. Tap the preferred app then select from the following to configure the settings:
    • Intelligent Control
    • Optimize
    • Don't optimize
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon to return to Battery optimization settings.
  7. Tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon then tap
    Advanced optimization
    .
  8. Tap the
    Turn on adaptive battery switch
     to turn on or off.
    When turned on, the battery is limited for apps you don't use often.
