OnePlus 8 5G UW - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your OnePlus 8 5G UW.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security & Lock Screen
    Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Tap
        Add Fingerprint
        .
      2. From the 'Unlock with fingerprint' screen, tap
        NEXT
        .
      3. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      4. Tap
        Done
        (lower-right).
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add Fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add another' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         to the right of the finger you want to remove.
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Yes, remove
