Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW - Manage Home Screen Settings

Here's how to change the default Home screen settings on your Galaxy S20 5G UW.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
    If unavailable, touch and hold a blank area of the Home screen then tap
    Settings
    .
  2. Tap
    Home screen
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Select Home Screen Layout
      1. Tap
        Home screen layout
        .
      2. Select an option (Home and Apps screen, Home screen only).
      3. Tap
        Apply
        .
    • Adjust Number of Apps Shown on Home Screen
      1. Tap
        Home screen grid
        .
      2. Select an option (e.g., 4x5, 4x6, 5x5, 5x6) at the bottom.
      3. Tap
        Save
        .
    • Adjust Number of Apps Shown on Apps Screen
      1. Tap
        Apps screen grid
        .
      2. Select an option (e.g., 4x5, 4x6, 5x5, 5x6) at the bottom.
      3. Tap
        Save
        .
      4. To rearrange icons and remove empty space(s):
        1. From the apps screen, tap the
          Menu icon
           3-dot Menu icon.
        2. Tap
          Clean up pages
          .
        3. Tap
          Apply
          .
    • Add / Remove Apps Button on Home Screen
      1. Tap
        Show Apps screen button on Home screen
         to turn on or off.
    • Hide Apps
      1. Tap
        Hide apps on Home and Apps screens
        .
      2. Select the preferred app(s).
      3. Tap
        Done
