Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW - Uninstall Apps

Here's how to remove or delete apps if your Galaxy S20 5G UW is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.
  • Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option.
    Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled (disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction).
  • If uninstalling an app update, ensure auto-update is disabled for the specified app until the issue is resolved with the developer.
  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon
       Filter and sort icon.
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap the
        Uninstall icon
         Uninstall icon.
      2. To confirm, tap
        OK

    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        Menu icon
         3-dot Menu icon (upper-right).
      2. Tap
        Uninstall Updates
        .
        This option is only available when an update has been installed.

        OK
