LG K51 - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your LG K51.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen & security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Unlock your phone with your fingerprint' screen, tap
        Next
        .
        If necessary, enter your current pattern, PIN or password.
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (back of device) to scan the fingerprint then follow the on-screen prompts.
      3. Tap
        OK
         (lower-right).
      4. Tap any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
        • Screen lock
          : Unlock screen with your fingerprint.
        • Content lock
          : Show locked content in Gallery and QuickMemo+ with your fingerprint
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (back of device) to scan the fingerprint then follow the on-screen prompts.
      3. Tap
        OK
         (lower-right).
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon (right of the fingerprint).
      2. Tap
        Delete
         to confirm
