LG K51 - Use Multi Window

Here's how to use two apps simultaneously on your LG K51.
  • 'Multi window' view allows two apps to be open in split-screen at the same time.
  • When enabled, apps automatically open in Multi window view.
  • The apps must support 'Multi window' to use this option.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold for approximately 1 second.
    If navigation buttons are enabled, tap the
    Recent apps icon
    Recent apps icon.
  2. Scroll left or right to locate the preferred app.
  3. Tap the app icon (e.g., Contacts, Settings, etc.) located at the top of the panel then do one of the following:
    Options may vary depending on the app selected.

    Multi window screen
    • Multi window
      1. Tap
        Multi window
        to open two apps in split-screen view.
      2. If presented, view the tutorial, tap
        Next
        then tap
        Done
        .
      3. When turned on, do any of the following:
        • Tap the second app to open it in the lower window.
        • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to change the second app.
          If navigation buttons are enabled, tap the
          Split screen icon
          Split screen icon to change the current app.
        • Adjust the size of the apps by sliding the horizontal bar between the apps up or down.
        • To close split-screen view, tap the horizontal bar between the apps then tap the
          Close icon
          Close icon.
    • Pop-up window
      1. Tap
        Pop-up window
        to open a floating app window that can be moved or resized.
      2. Drag the edges and/or corners to resize the app window.
      3. Tap the minimize, maximize or close icon to control the window:
        • Minimize
          Minimize icon: Changes the app window to a floating icon that can be tapped at any time to reopen the window.
        • Maximize
          Maximize icon: Brings the app back to the foreground (takes up the whole screen).
        • Close
          Close icon: Closes the app window.
