Configure LTE Network Extender Access Settings

Adjust the priority list for your LTE Network Extender via the My Verizon website. This helps ensure your most important devices get the best signal, improving call quality and data speed where you need it most.

Before you begin

Managed access is not available for prepaid customers.
Apartment residents or those with nearby neighbors can use the managed access list to prioritize up to 50 Verizon mobile numbers.

Steps

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon as an Account Owner or Manager.
  2. From the My Verizon Home screen, navigate:
    Account
    My devices
    Device overview
    .
  3. From the Select a device section, choose the Network Extender.
  4. From the Access type section, select
    Edit
    .
  5. Select one of the following then select
    Continue
    :
    • Open Access (Unrestricted)
       - Default setting - Allows any Verizon wireless customer within range to connect to the Network Extender.
    • Hybrid Access
       - Open and priority service for members. Access is open to any Verizon wireless users within range. Members of the access list have priority access.
    • Closed access
       - Provides priority access for up to 50 Verizon mobile numbers.
