Samsung Galaxy Watch3 - Back Up Data

Here's how to back up your Galaxy Watch3 data via the Galaxy Wearables app.
From your Android™ or Apple® iPhone® smartphone, ensure the Galaxy Wearable / Samsung Galaxy Watch (Gear S) app is installed (Android, iOS) and updated (Android, iOS).
  1. From a Home screen on your companion phone, do one of the following:
    • For Android smartphones, open the
      Galaxy Wearable app
      .
    • For Apple iPhones, open the
      Samsung Galaxy Watch (Gear S) app
      .
  2. From the Home tab, tap
    Account and backup
    .
    If necessary, tap
    Watch settings
     then tap
    Account and backup
    .
  3. Tap
    Back up data
    .
    For Apple iPhone, tap
    Backup and restore
     then
    Back up data
    .
  4. To allow the Galaxy Wearable app to automatically back up data, tap the
    Auto back up
     (at the top) to turn on.
    Not available on Apple iPhone.
  5. Select (check) the desired options (e.g., Phone, Messages, Settings, etc.) then tap
    Back up
     (at the bottom).
    Options vary based on the companion device (e.g., Samsung smartphone, non-Samsung smartphone, Apple iPhone).
