Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW - Manage Contactless Payments

Here's how to use the 'Tap & pay' service with your Galaxy A71 5G UW.
This service manages payment apps. The 'Tap & pay' option doesn't apply to Android Beam and won't include certain apps such as money transfer apps.
  • You can use the 'Tap & pay' service to pay for items just by touching your phone to a reader at a checkout register.
  • If your device doesn't have a payment app, you can browse the Google Play™ Store for payment apps.
  • For the 'Tap & pay' option to appear, NFC must be turned on.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    NFC and contactless payments
    .
  3. Ensure the NFC and payment switch is on.
  4. Tap
    Contactless payments
    .
    All activated wallets are added under 'Tap & pay'.
    If multiple wallets are activated, a user can at any point change the default by going to 'Tap & pay' and update the selection.
