Google Pixel 4a - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Pixel 4a.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Internet
    .
  2. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on On icon.
  3. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap
        Show password
        .
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        (scroll down if needed).
      2. From the 'Network name' (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. Tap the 'Security field'
        dropdown menu
        Dropdown menu icon.
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal, etc.).
      5. If prompted, enter a User name in the Identity field.
      6. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Save
        .
      7. Tap
        Advanced options
        Down arrow icon then ensure all additional settings (e.g. Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap
        Saved networks
        .
      2. Tap the desired Wi-Fi network.
      3. Tap
        Forget
        .
