Google Pixel 4a - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Pixel 4a.
- From a Home screen, navigate:.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on

- Perform one of the following:
- Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
- Tap the preferred network.
- Enter the appropriate password then tapConnect.To view the password as it is being entered, tapShow password.
- Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
- TapAdd network(scroll down if needed).
- From the 'Network name' (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
- Tap the 'Security field'dropdown menu
.
- Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2-Personal, etc.).
- If prompted, enter a User name in the Identity field.
- Enter the appropriate password then tapSave.
- TapAdvanced options
then ensure all additional settings (e.g. Proxy, IP Settings, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
Save.
- Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
- TapSaved networks.
- Tap the desired Wi-Fi network.
- TapForget.
