Block / Unblock NumbersBlocking certain numbers on your Pixel 4a stops unwanted calls and messages. If you can't receive calls or messages from specific numbers, verify they're not blocked.
Before you begin
Calls and messages from contacts or phone numbers added to the block list are automatically ignored. The call is forwarded to Voicemail and text / picture messages aren't delivered to the Messages app.
If calls from a specific number go directly to Voicemail but you're still able to receive text messages, ensure the contact isn't set to automatically route to Voicemail by navigating:

, select the contact, tap the 3-dot Menu
then select Unroute to voicemail

- Open thePhone app.
- Tap the3-dot Menuthen selectSettings.
- TapBlocked numbersthen do any of the following:
- To add a block:
- TapAdd a number.
- Add the number to be blocked.
- TapBlock.
- To remove a block:
- Tap theX iconto the right of the blocked number.
- TapUnblock.
