These steps guide you through setting up and customizing your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G for everyday use.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating your new Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.

  1. Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device prior to powering on.
    To avoid potential activation / service issues, don't insert a 4G SIM card.
    5G devices purchased from Verizon include a pre-installed 5G SIM card.

  2. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
    (upper-right edge) until the Samsung Galaxy screen appears then release.
  3. Select the appropriate language then tap

  4. To continue, select (check) the following then tap

  5. Ensure the appropriate mobile number is listed then tap

    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  6. Select and connect to a Wi-Fi network then tap
