Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added..
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space on the screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added..
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Email, My Verizon, etc.).
  2. Drag the app on to another app (e.g., Gmail, Call Filter, etc.) then release it.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (unnamed by default). To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the

  3. To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      2. If prompted, select Lock screen, Home screen, or both then tap

    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. If necessary, select an album under the Gallery heading.
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture.
      3. If prompted, select Lock screen, Home screen, or both then tap
        Preview

      4. Tap
        Done

    • To use a wallpaper service:
      1. Select an item under the 'Wallpaper services' heading.
        Multiple wallpaper services may be present.
      2. Follow any on-screen prompts or info to configure the wallpaper service.
  5. If desired, tap
    Color palette
    then configure as preferred.
  6. Tap
    Apply Dark mode to Wallpaper
    to turn on or off.
