Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G
Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card, so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    Other security settings
    Set up SIM card lock
    .
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
    to turn on or off.
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the Lock SIM card switch is turned on, tap
    Change SIM PIN
    then follow the onscreen prompts.
