Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled (disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction).

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the applicable app.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. To confirm, tap
        OK
        .
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu icon
        .
      2. Tap
        Uninstall Updates
        .
      3. To confirm, tap
        OK
