Switching to a new device, traveling or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your Galaxy A51 5G UW.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while the device is powered on because it may harm the SIM card or the device.

Steps

  1. From the top-left edge of the device with the display facing up, remove the card tray.
    Use the insertion / removal tool (or a paperclip) to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the card tray.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To insert a SIM card: Insert the SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down. Ensure the card fits into place.
      Insert SIM card
    • To remove a SIM card: Once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
      Remove SIM card
  3. Reinsert the card tray then press it into place.
