Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy A51 5G UW.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    Biometrics
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Read about Fingerprints then tap
        Continue
        .
      2. Tap
        Register
         after reading the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.
      3. Press the target to start capture. Repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      4. Tap
        Done
         (lower-right).
      5. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add Fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Touch and hold a fingerprint to remove.
        To delete all fingerprints, tap
        All
         (upper-left).
      2. Tap
        Remove
        .
      3. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
        .
