Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Galaxy Z Fold2 5G or turn it on or off.

Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card, so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.

If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

If you have Prepaid service, contact customer service to obtain the PUK.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Security and privacy

Other security settings

Set up SIM card lock

Tap the

Lock SIM card switch

to turn on or off.

Enter the current SIM PIN then tap

The default SIM PIN is 1111.

To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:

Tap

Change SIM PIN

Enter the current SIM PIN then tap

Enter a new SIM PIN then tap

Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
