Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Galaxy Tab S7 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap 'Network name', 'Password' or 'Band' to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
  4. Tap
    Advanced
     then edit any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Password
      Tap the Password field to remove the existing password then enter the preferred password.
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
    • Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Timeout
      Tap
      Turn off when no device connected for
       then select the preferred option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 mins, 10 mins, etc.).
  5. Tap
    Save
    .
