Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy Tab S7 5G.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    Biometrics
    .
  3. From the Biometrics section, tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. From the 'Fingerprints' screen, review the info then tap
        Continue
         (at the bottom).
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
         (lower-right).
      4. Tap the
        Fingerprint unlock switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 3 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat as necessary until the process is complete.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Touch and hold a fingerprint name until a blue checkmark appears to the left of the fingerprint.
        If desired, tap (check) additional fingerprints or tap All (upper-left) to remove all fingerprints.
      2. Tap
        Remove
         (at the bottom).
      3. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        Remove
