The 4G LTE Network Extender for Enterprise requires an always-on broadband internet connection of at least 10 Mbps. Your extender coverage reaches up to 7,500 square feet depending on home construction and placement. For optimal performance, we recommend download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps.

This extender doesn't support satellite or wireless broadband internet connections.

Routers may require special settings like Firewall or Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure the best call quality. Contact your internet service provider (ISP), network administrator or equipment manufacturer for help with these settings.

Turn off all bandwidth-intensive processes on your network when you place or receive calls. This includes file sharing, music or video streaming, downloading files and running system updates.

While we can't recommend a specific site or app, there are many online resources that can help determine if an Internet connection and/or router can support VoIP throughput. Run a quick check on your connection using verizon.com/speedtest/ or a third-party website like www.megapath.com/speedtestplus/.

For mobile devices, download the FCC Speed Test app on your Android™ or iOS® device.

If prompted, refer to Install Java to run the browser test or download a third-party QoS app. Alternatively, various apps can test VoIP throughput.
