MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW - Add a Personal / Corporate Email Account

Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your Motorola one 5G UW.

Add a Personal Email Account

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap one of the following:
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
    • Personal (IMAP)
    • Personal (POP3)
  4. Enter the Email address then tap
    NEXT
    .
    Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary.
  5. Enter the password then tap
    NEXT
    .
  6. If presented with Terms & Conditions or a Privacy statement, review then tap
    Yes
    to continue.
  7. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password, Security type, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, tap
    Advanced
    to ensure the certificate is valid then tap
    PROCEED ANYWAY
    to continue.
  8. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, Port, Security type, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, tap
    Advanced
    to ensure the certificate is valid then tap
    PROCEED ANYWAY
    to continue.
  9. Configure account options as appropriate then tap
    NEXT
    .
  10. Enter an account name if desired then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.

Add a Corporate Email Account

Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap
    Exchange
    (for corporate email accounts).
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
  4. Enter your corporate email address then tap
    Next
    (lower-right).
  5. Enter your password then tap
    Sign in
    .
    If automatic setup is unsuccessful, tap
    Set up manually
    .
  6. If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
      Applies corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
      Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
