Here's how to clear temporary storage on your TCL TAB 8 to improve performance.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To clear individual app cache:
      1. Navigate:
        Apps and notifications
        SEE ALL APPS
        .
      2. Tap the applicable app then tap
        Storage & cache
        .
      3. Tap
        CLEAR CACHE
        .
        This option may not be available for some apps.
    • To clear all cached data:
      1. Navigate:
        Storage
        Internal shared storage
        .
      2. Tap
        FREE UP SPACE
        .
      3. From the 'Cleaning suggestions' section, do any of the following:
        Options may vary based on device and app usage.
        • Clean junk files
        • Delete old screenshots
        • Delete unused apps
