Google Pixel 4a 5G UW - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Pixel 4a 5G UW.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    Wi-FI hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Hotspot name
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Hotspot password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password then tap
        OK
        .
  4. Tap
    Turn off hotspot automatically
     to turn on or off.
