CTL Chromebook NL71CT-L - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your CTL Chromebook.
Instructions on inserting or removing your SIM can help with activation issues / errors, browser connection problems and a blank or frozen screen.
Don't attempt to insert/remove the SIM card on your CTL® Chromebook NL71CT-L while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Open the SIM cover using a T5 Torx screwdriver then remove the cover.
    Remove SIM cover
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down.
    • Remove SIM card
      Press in on the SIM card then release to remove.
  4. Reinstall the SIM cover.
