Nokia 8 V 5G UW - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.
  1. Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Security
    Face unlock
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. Do any of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Set up face unlock
        .
      2. To continue, review the instructions then tap
        Start
        .
      3. Align your face within the circle then follow the onscreen prompts until the process is complete.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Delete face data
        .
      2. Read the disclaimer, then tap
        OK
        .
