Nokia 8 V 5G UW - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
      2. From the 'Unlock with fingerprint' screen, review the info then tap
        Continue
         (lower-right).
      3. From the 'Touch the sensor' screen, locate the sensor (Power button) then tap
        Start
         (lower-right).
      4. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat until the process is complete then tap
        Done
         (lower-right).
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Follow the on-screen tutorial to scan your fingerprint and repeat until the process is complete then tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Select the fingerprint to remove.
        Name box displays.
      2. Tap
        DELETE
        .
      3. To confirm, tap
        OK
        .
        If deleting all fingerprints, tap
        YES, REMOVE
         from 'Remove all fingerprints?' screen.
