Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine which apps use the most power on your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

Review the current battery status.

The percentage indicates the remaining battery life, charging status and the estimated time to charge fully.

Tap the

Menu icon

then tap

Battery usage

The 'Battery history' graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.

To improve battery life, you can:

Disable or uninstall apps (e.g., live wallpapers, etc.) that are consuming too much battery or RAM or aren't being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.

Turn GPS off when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not function properly.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
