Nokia 8 V 5G UW - Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., AMBER Alerts, etc.) for your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced Down arrow icon
    then tap
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
    Menu Icon then tap
    Settings
    .
  5. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    If turned off the settings below are disabled.
  6. From the 'Alerts' section, tap any of following to turn on or off.
    • AMBER alerts
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • Public safety messages
  7. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Spanish language
    • Vibration
    • Audio
  8. Tap
    Alert reminder sound
     then select an option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
