Push to Talk Plus - Dispatch Console - Locate Member

Here's how to locate a contact or talkgroup via the Push to Talk + Dispatch Console.

Launch the Dispatch Console.

Navigate:

Start

Apps

Dispatch Console menu

Do any of the following:

To locate fleet members:

Select the

Contacts tab

Click the

Locate icon

to the right of the desired contact.

To locate multiple members, select the check box to the left of each contact then right-click a member and click

Locate

To locate talkgroup members:

Select the

Talkgroups tab

Select the group to locate then click the

Locate icon

When a fleet member is located, the 'Map Selection' screen opens to show the located fleet member. Right-click the

Location Marker Location marker icon

of a fleet member to display the approximate address then select any of the following icons:

PTT Call

Send IPA (Call Me) Alert Send IPA icon

Engage in Messaging Engage in message icon

Request Video Request video icon

Refresh Location Refresh location icon

Start Location Auto-refresh Auto refresh location icon

To view the location history:

Click the

Location History tab

Select the Contact or Talkgroup in the 'Select From' drop-down.

Select the name of the contact or talkgroup from the 'Select up to three members' drop-down.

Select the duration you want to track the path of the member from the 'Start Interval' and 'End Interval' option.

Click the

Go icon
