Arris NVG558 - View Network Name and Password

Here's how to view the network name and password for your Arris NVG558 router.
Ensure you have an active connection (wired or wireless) between the router and the device you're using to access the admin page.
  1. Establish a Wi-Fi or wired network connection with a device (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.).
    If connecting to a computer, select the appropriate operating system for assistance:
  2. Open a web page then enter
    http://my.router
     into the URL address field.
    Alternatively, enter 192.168.0.1 into the URL address field.
    If the admin page doesn't appear, refer to step 1.
  3. Enter the Access Code then click
    Continue
    .
    The default Access Code can be found on the bottom of the device and is different from the Wi-Fi password.
  4. Click
    Wi-Fi
    then select
    Wi-Fi Home
    .
  5. View the Network Name (SSID) and Password.
