Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy A42 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapConfigure.
- Tap any of the following to configure:
- Network name
- Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
- Password
- Tap thePassword fieldto remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- To adjust Timeout settings, tap any option then tapAdvanced.
- TapTurn off when no device connected forthen select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
