Samsung Galaxy A42 5G - Change Network Mode

If your Galaxy A42 5G drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile networks
    Network operators
    .
  3. Tap the
    Select automatically switch
     to turn on or off.
    This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact your service.
    If the 'Select automatically' setting is turned off, follow the onscreen prompts to select an available network.
