Samsung Galaxy A42 5G - Set Date and Time

If your Galaxy A42 5G shows the incorrect date and/or time, here's how to correct it.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    General Management
    Date and time
    .
  3. To use network-provided values, tap
    Automatic date & time
     to turn on.
  4. When manually setting 'Date and time', perform the following:
    'Automatic date & time' must be turned off to manually adjust date and time.
    1. Tap
      Select time zone
      .
    2. Tap
      Time zone
      then select a time zone.
    3. Tap the
      Back icon
       Back icon to return to the 'Date and time' menu.
    4. Tap
      Set date
      .
    5. Adjust the date then tap
      Done
      .
    6. Tap
      Set time
      .
    7. Adjust the time then tap
      Done
      .
  5. If desired, tap the
    Use 24-hour format switch
     to turn on or off.
