Choosing custom ringtones or notification sounds helps you differentiate alert sounds on your Galaxy A42 5G from others around you.

Steps

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Sounds and vibration

Do any of the following:

To set a ringtone:

Tap

Ringtone

Select a tone then tap the

Back arrow

to save and return to the previous screen.

To set a notification sound:

Tap

Notification sound

Select the a notification sound then tap the

Back arrow

to save and return to the previous screen.

To adjust vibration settings:

Tap

Call vibration pattern

Select a pattern then tap the

Back arrow

to save and return to the previous screen.

Tap

Vibration intensity

Drag any of the slider left or right to the desired level.
