Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy A42 5G by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Battery and device care
    Battery
    Power saving mode
    .
  3. Tap the
    Power saving mode switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Limit apps and Home screen
