Moving files to an SD card frees up storage space and helps your A42 5G run more efficiently.

Before you begin

To perform the steps below, an SD / memory card must be inserted.

Steps

  1. Open the
    My Files app
    .
  2. Tap
    Internal storage
     then navigate to the directory/folder that contacts the file(s).
  3. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Edit
    .
  4. Select (check) the desired file(s) then tap
    Move
    .
  5. Tap the
    My Files Home icon
    .
  6. Tap
    SD Card
    .
  7. If necessary, navigate to the applicable directory to move the files to then tap
    Move here
    .
