Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy A02s makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

  1. Touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen location.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen location then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) then release.
  3. Tap
    Folder Name
     (at the top).
  4. Enter a name for the folder then tap
    Done
    .
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, folder, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
  2. Tap the applicable option:
    • Select items
    • Remove from Home
    • Disable or Uninstall
    • App info (app info icon
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper
    .
  3. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  4. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    .
  5. From the 'Wallpaper' screen, perform one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Tap
        My wallpapers
        .
      2. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      3. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
      4. Tap
        Set on Home / Lock / Lock and Home screen
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Gallery
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture(s).
        Up to 15 images can be selected and displayed in a rotating slideshow.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. Select an option (e.g., Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
      5. If prompted, tap (check)
        Sync my edits
         (if preferred).
      6. Tap
        Set on Home / Lock / Lock and Home screen
        .
    • To use a Wallpaper service:
      1. Tap
        Lock screen wallpaper services
        .
      2. elect the preferred wallpaper service (Dynamic Lock screen, Samsung Global Goals.
        Selected when a blue dot is present.
      3. Tap
        Apply
        .
      4. Select an image then tap
        Download
        .
      5. To only download when connected to Wi-Fi, tap
        Using Wi-Fi only
        .
        Selected when a checkmark is present.
