Block / Unblock Numbers

Blocking certain numbers on your Galaxy A12 stops unwanted calls and messages. If you can't receive calls or messages from specific numbers, verify they're not blocked.

Before you begin

Calls and messages from contacts or phone numbers added to the block list are automatically ignored. The call is forwarded to Voicemail and text / picture messages aren't delivered to the Messages app.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
    .
  3. Tap
    Settings
     then tap
    Block numbers
    .
  4. Do any of the following:
    • To add a block:
      1. Tap
        Recents
        , select the applicable or number then tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove a block:
      1. Tap the
        Remove icon
         located to the right of the number.
