Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy A12 to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Advanced settings
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Allow alert switch
     to turn on or off:
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on or off.
    • Extreme alerts
    • Severe alerts
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety alerts
    • State/local test alerts
