Here's info on common camera settings (e.g., flash, timer, front / rear camera, etc.) for your moto g power (2021).

Camera home screen

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon.
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon to access these options:
    Tap the
    Back arrow
     Back icon (upper-right) to return to the previous screen when necessary.
    • Rear camera
      Select the option and configure as preferred:
      • Photo size
        • Ratio (3:4, 9:16, Full)
        • Resolution (12MP, 8MP)
      • HDR (Auto, On, Off)
    • Selfie camera
      Select the option then configure as preferred:
      • Photo size
        • Ratio (3:4, 9:16, Full)
        • Resolution (16MP, 4MP)
      • HDR (Auto, On, Off)
      • Selfie photo mirror
        Tap the
        switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Capture settings
      Tap the switch(es) to turn on or off:
      • Quick capture
        Tap then configure additional settings on the next screen.
      • Tap anywhere to capture
      • Shutter sound
      • Assistive grid
      • Leveler
      • Keep last mode
      • Watermark
        Tap then configure additional settings on the next screen.
    • AI settings
      Tap the switch(es) to turn on or off:
      • Auto Smile Capture
      • Gesture Selfie
      • Smart Composition
      • Shot Optimization
      • Google Lens
    • Save settings:
      • Storage (Phone, SD card)
      • Save location
        Tap to turn on or off.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Tap the
      Macro icon
       Macro icon to take a detailed close-up photo with the dedicated macro camera.
    • Tap the
      Zoom icon
       Zoom icon to take a regular photo with the main camera.
      Touch and hold the
      Zoom icon
       then swipe left or right to increase or decrease camera zoom.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon.
  2. Tap the
    Flash icon
     to change between Auto Camera flash auto icon, on Camera flash on icon or off Camera flash off icon.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon.
  2. Tap the
    Timer icon
     to change between 3 seconds Camera timer 3 second icon, 10 seconds Camera timer 10 second icon and off Camera timer off icon.

  2. Tap the
    Switch camera icon
     Camera front facing icon to change between front or rear camera.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon.
  2. To change modes, tap
    More icon
     More mode options or swipe the screen right then tap the preferred option.
    Tap 'Photo' or 'Video' to switch between camera modes.
