Here's how to allow your moto g play (2021) to auto-switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to preserve a consistent data connection.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon.
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the switch is turned on On icon.
  4. Tap
    Wi-Fi preferences
     then tap
    Advanced
     Down arrow icon .
  5. Tap
    Avoid bad Wi-Fi connections
     to turn on On icon or off Switch off.
