MOTO G POWER (2021) - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your moto g power (2021).
  1. Ensure a secure lock screen type has been set up.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Security
    Face unlock
    .
  4. Enter the current unlock method (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.).
  5. Do one of the following:
    • For first time set up:
      1. Tap
        SET UP
         then tap
        NEXT
        .
      2. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete
      3. From the 'Almost there' screen, tap the options to turn on or off.
      4. To continue, tap
        NEXT
        , then tap
        Done
        .
    • To improve / replace a face match:
      1. Tap
        Redo face scan
        .
      2. Review the message then tap
        Redo
        .
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow onscreen prompts until the process is complete
      4. From the 'Almost there' screen, tap the options to turn on or off.
      5. To continue, tap
        NEXT
        , then tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Delete face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer then tap
        OK
